Heading to Arizona!!! aka "DRY HEAT"

So Luke and I went all the way out to Phoenix Arizona to visit my younger brother Micah. He is studying to be a video game designer. He wants to make really quality Christian video games because there are no really good ones. He wants the game to be so good that anyone will want to play it, and in the process they'll learn about Jesus while doing it! So cool!

And Arizona-what a perfect place to study cuz all they do is stay in doors anyway and study on their computers... plus who would want to be outside anyway? It's sooooooo HOT there... Luke and I were at a gas station and all the cups and tourist gifts all had this slogan "DRY HEAT" on them. I was like "oh great.. here we go!"... and man were they right.

Driving to AZ! Video

Beautiful country side! The sky is so large! No smog like LA.

They have baby twisters! So crazy!
Phoenix was more than 125 miles away but this was the last leg of our 7 1/2 hour drive!
Almost there! He doesn't live in Flagstaff but on the interstate 17 at a place called Metro.

On our way there we saw a Saint Luke sign and this one. I ran out of time to take a pic of the other one.. There's obviously been some Christian influence in this town.

Yeah we made it!! Video

Cooking Dinner for Micah!

This is Micah's roommate Yancey and his girlfriend. They were a lot of fun!

All hanging out eating some good food!Micah in his element! hehe!
Okay so Luke and I were on a mission to find Micah a desk. And praise God for Craigslist we found this AWESOME IKEA desk for $40!! We drove out to the middle of no where to get it.. probably why it was $40 dollars cuz no one would drive out there but us! But anyway it was awesome!

Here's a video of it!

Yeah! Micah's desk all set up! Now he can study better! How cute does he look?

Praise the Lord for our trip! We LOVE family and were so sad to leave! We'll have to do it again some time! We love you Micah!
