The Blue Mosque

This is Janosch, we would have been lost without him!

...mmmmmmmm

Obama spoke here at the Aya Sophia the day we left. This place was originally a church but was converted into a mosque sometime later as Islam spread. They painted over the pictures of Christ but eventually the paint began to chip and revealed -- the Lord himself! They couldn't handle that so they turned it over to be a museum. So now the pictures are preserved perfectly for us to see 1,400 years later!

yeah! I am sooo glad you got to that Hagia Sophia! If you can- try lemon juice on all your uncooked greens (the acid can help reduce your likelyhood of getting sick as it kills some of the germies your body may not be used to- someone told me this who was traveling thru Egypt).

So cool Bethany and Luke - I have been there!! It is amazing to see all the mosques and feel the spiritual differences between where Islam reigns and where Paul preached and where Jesus reigns. He is the LIGHT! Keep on keepin on
