Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!   YES this picture is of REAL CHRISTMAS TREES IN AUSTRALIA!! Haha.. So stoked we found them. Most trees you find over here are fake, which kinda puts a damper on things for Christmas if ya know what I mean.. at least if you are used to real trees. =) Anyway we just wanted to give you a quick update on us and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! What has been happening the last few months? We went to Bali to debrief our July DTS and while we were there we celebrated our 7 Year Wedding Anniversary! So fun. Our September DTS we commissioned off for their 2 month outreach. Teams went to Thailand/India, Indo/Samoa, Malaysia/Fiji, and Madagascar! We have already heard of over 11 people who have received Jesus Christ into their lives!! Now that it's December we are on a little break before the new year comes and all our staff return, so we are here celebrating Christmas with a few other YWAM stragglers around haha..Should be fun. What's happening in the New Year for us? We will be staffing the Feb DTS and taking an outreach team! Woo Hoo! It's been a while since we've taken our own team which is exciting for us and good for us to get our feet wet again out there on the mission field. We have stayed back a lot these last couple years training other staff and raising up school leaders so this will be refreshing for us to get out there again. We will be back in the US in August and Sept for a visit. Luke's brother is getting married as well as a good friend in Santa Barbara. So we will come back, visit our SB family in California, see supporters, see Luke's family in Rhode Island and see Bethany's family in Hawaii. So this will be our annual trip to catch up and share all that God has done over the past year. God has been amazing to us. We really feel blessed by him because even though we have not reached our goal in monthly support we have been SO blessed by the amazing people this year who have blessed us monthly and with one time gifts. Thank you all sooooo much! We are stoked to know you and call you friends! We say it all the time -- how blessed we feel by you and how taken care of we are. Well that's us for now. See you in the New Year! And have a BLESSED Merry Christmas! Above is our neighbor Jason. We have been hanging out with him a lot lately and feel that God just wants to use us to love on him. He is divorced with two kids who go between him and his ex wife's house.  Can you pray that he gets a RADICAL revelation of Jesus' love for him? That would be the BEST Christmas present we could ask for.
