Surprise in Colorado!!

Soooo... I spoke to Julia (in the pic with us) the other day and she was talking about driving out to SURPRISE the Hirsh family in Longmont Colorado. And I was like "WE HAVE TO COME!!"... so by the grace of God we were able to both get the time off and go!!

So here we are on our first gas station stop to fill 'er up!

Okay so on our way we happened to pass through Las Vegas and Julia has never been there (not that she is missing out on much).. but we thought what the heck, we need to get gas and why not throw a couple quarters in the ol slot machine for some "road trip money".. if we are lucky. Julia was so cute.. all excited to pull down that lever!
And believe it or not she WON... $17 bucks but hey it's better than losing. So we went out to Fat Burger and got ourselves an extravagant lunch.
Julia had some drunken on-lookers join in on the festivities!

As we left Vegas we headed into Utah. After 12 hours of driving we found ourselves a lovely hotel in the middle of NO WHERE! And the funny thing is that they tried to call this town Green River. Ya it was pretty much brown! Here's a VIDEO:

Luke loved the waffles they had at the continental breakfast! Of course God would provide waffles... seeing that's one of his favorite things to eat!
How cool is this! What a way to proclaim it!

This is their cute little church. The pastor was super nice and gave a great sermon about how God uses storms in our lives to shape us and draw us closer to Him.

Julia made some real french toast! So yummy! P.S. She is an AWESOME person to have on a road trip. I do recommend her.. =)

We all hung out in Boulder and had lunch! It was fun! Super cute town. It almost reminds me of Santa Barbara

While we were in Colorado we had to stop at a YWAM base. So we went to the Denver Base. It's soooo beautiful!

We took a gazillion pictures so I won't put any more! We had so much fun! The Lord did such an incredible work. We prayed over their whole house and just encouraged each other in the Lord. We felt like the Apostle Paul when he would long to encourage his friends in the different churches. And we actually got to do it! Praise Jesus. It was a mini missions trip!
