They all arrived in the Sunny Coast Airbuses!
We had a welcome to Australia night for them.. They were all jet lagged but in surprisingly good spirits!
Nato and Pia showed them the Tim Tam Slam where you take a Tim Tam cookie and suck tea or coffee thru it!! Sounds gross but it's quite popular around here :)
We did a fun ice breaker where you had 30 seconds to share everything about yourself an then the timer would switch and the other person would go! It was funny seeing everyone talk a million miles an hour!
To help the students get orientated with the area where they live we did a scavenger hunt race and broke up into teams! You got extra points for dressing up so our team did black and white, dark glasses and red lipstick!
We had our first lecture on The Cost of Discipleship! It really gave the perspective that it's not easy to follow Jesus but if we choose to that it's worth everything we've got to give. There is really no other way to live for a believer!
Well thats it for now.. Pray that God will open their hearts! Love you all!
