Well we are back from about a month and half of travel! Props to Bethany for doing it all…. while PREGNANT! What a champ.
This time was amazing. We had the privilege of marrying (officiating the ceremony for) 3 couples that we love dearly in Germany, Texas, and North Dakota…3 weekends in a row haha! They are all close friends of ours from YWAM Australia, people we have discipled and walked through some of life’s key moments with. What an honor.

GOD story
Going to Germany was a miracle in itself. A little less than a year ago Bethany and I went on a scouting trip to Barcelona, Spain because that is where we feel like the Lord is leading us to launch this Cirque du Soleil style show we are working on.
Well we met this guy named Joseph at the YWAM Barcelona base…and it turns out that he spoke on my DTS in Kona in 2009! I remembered him and we instantly connected. We shared our vision with him and he got so excited! He told us that he was connected with Christian artists all across Europe and that he and his wife were now living in Berlin, Germany…and he said “You guys have to come and visit me!…can you come?” At that time we were unable to so he said “when will you both be in Europe again?” Then we remembered that we were going to be in Germany that next June (2017) for our friend’s wedding! How awesome is that?! So we planned to see each other then!
Ok so the wedding was June 24th. When we were booking our flights we prayed and asked God when we should go. We wanted to give God some space to do whatever He wanted before the wedding since we were going to be all the way over there anyways! We felt to go for the whole month of June…so we obeyed and bought the tickets.
Well, it turns out that our friend Joseph just ‘happened’ to be leading a meeting in Norway with Christian artists and creatives from all over Europe at the beginning of June! They were strategizing on how to reach Europe with the gospel through art! Come on! So he invited us to that gathering.
We visited him in Berlin and then flew to Norway for the artists gathering. Man, God is so good. Every time we shared about what we are doing, people just responded with so much excitement! They just knew it was God!
There are so many crazy things that happened but I’ll just mention a few: We got our first official intercessor for the show! We got some awesome prophetic words about our core team and how many people there would be - in both America and Europe. Also, this woman who was the base director at this location in Norway gave us an amazing prophetic word and told us that she wanted to be part of our team as well, helping with strategy and organization! Not to mention we now have connections and relationships with all of the wonderful and talented people at this meeting!
We all felt like the Lord was saying that we should be having meetings like this more frequently so we agreed to do more of them. Guess where the next one is being held? Yup…Barcelona. How cool is God? There is so much more to tell …but all I can say is that this trip was totally orchestrated by God!

Another quick cool story:
We went to Nuremberg Germany and met up with Julio Mzar, our contact and friend from a past outreach in Barcelona who moved to Germany and is doing some awesome ministry here. When we told him about our show idea he was very keen be a part of it in helping disciple all the people who get saved from it. He has been training teams of people in many cities all over Europe to disciple new believers and he'd love to train up a team to help our show. Go God!!
After our time in Norway we headed back to Germany for the wedding. Here are also a few other fun photos from our travels :-)

We are now back in Redding, California and ready to get things going for the show with the people God has connected us with here! It is so fun following Jesus! He does most of the work and we just step out in faith and trust Him! Thank you Lord!!
